Make sure to do the BIOS upgrade so your sound doesn't cut out on zoom, but other than that this is a decent unit for the price. It's handsome to look at, the 3 inch LCD is excellent and the cam is easy to use. Not really HD quality but pretty close. It doesn't have the features and clarity of more expensive units, but for HD under $200 it's the way to go.
